Children and Family Programmes turn the museum into an adventure space for young visitors to explore. Programmes are designed according to the child's age and encourage parents to take part too.
What is on offer?
- Discovery backpacks: For ages 3-6 and 7-12, lent free of charge; they contain a magnifier, tactile cards and a task booklet.
- Family tour: With storytelling and games, Sundays at 12:00.
- Night at the Museum: A torchlit night tour, workshop and sleeping bags for ages 7-12; once a month.
- Birthdays: A tour, workshop and cake area for 8-15 children.
Safety
There is one educator for every eight children in the programmes. Games and role plays that teach not touching the works are part of the programme. Allergies and special needs are noted at registration.
The family ticket (2 adults + 2 children) is 650 TRY. Children under 7 enter free.
