On which days can I visit the museum?
Tuesday-Sunday 09:30-17:30; open until 20:00 on Fridays. Closed on Mondays.
Do I have to buy my ticket online?
Not compulsory; you can also buy at the desk. But online tickets avoid queuing and give a guarantee on busy days.
Is the museum card accepted?
Museum-card holders reserve a time slot with a 40 TRY reservation fee (audio guide included) and show their card at entry.
Can I take photographs in the museum?
Photography without flash is allowed for personal use. Tripods, selfie sticks and commercial shoots require prior permission.
What accessibility services does the museum offer?
We offer lifts, wheelchairs, tactile models, audio-described guide, sign-language tours and quiet hours.
How do I book a school group?
Choose 'School Group Visit' or 'School Programme with Workshop' on the appointments page and set a date. Our education team will contact you within two working days.
Can I donate an object to the museum?
Yes; donations begin with the donation application form. The acquisition committee assesses the object's fit with collection themes, condition and documentation.
Where do I find an inventory number?
Every work's label bears an inventory number in the format 'OKM-YYYY-NNNN'. You can enter this number in the online look-up tool to see the work's status.
