The story of the object
The folio has been in our conservation laboratory since 2025 because of damp stains. Gold-leaf layers are being re-adhered under a microscope so they do not detach from the paper. Restoration is planned to be completed at the end of 2026, after which it will be displayed again in Gallery 4.
Acquisition and display status
Came to the museum in 2019 as part of a donated collection. The work is currently in conservation. An audio-guide commentary has not yet been published for this work; it is covered in our guided tours.
